Bernie Sanders tells his voters why Clinton is the ‘Superior Candidate’ on Meet the Press (VIDEO)

September 4, 2016 By Egberto Willies

Bernie Sanders, confronted with poll numbers that suggest many of his supporters are not yet on board the Hillary Clinton juggernaut had a message for his follower and Americans in general.

Bernie Sanders: Hillary Clinton the ‘Superior Candidate.’

Chuck Todd pointed out that many of Bernie Sanders millennials are migrating to Jill Stein and Gary Johnson. Sanders urged a policy based vote.

“What this campaign is supposed to be about,” Bernie Sanders said. “It is supposed to be about the real issues impacting the American people. Either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump is going to become President of the United States. And there is no doubt in my mind that Hillary Clinton is far, far, far, and away the superior candidate.

Look at the issues. Which candidate is going to be raising the minimum wage to a liveable wage? Which candidate is going to be making public colleges and universities tuition free? Which candidate is going to do something about the great environmental crisis we face which is climate change? Which is Hillary Clinton. Which candidate doesn’t even acknowledge the reality of climate change? Which Donald Trump. Which candidate is going to create millions of jobs, rebuilding our crumbling infrastructure, is going to deal effectively with immigration reform and criminal justice reform.

So I think on all of those issues what people have got to say is this is not about Trump. It is not about Clinton. It is about the American people. And on all of those issues Chuck, to my mind, Clinton is far and away the superior candidate, and I hope people see that.”

Bernie Sanders statement is short, concise and on point. In other words, one does not have to be fond of or even like a candidate; they should, however, vote in the best interest of their families, communities, states, and country.
