Media Insanity: Hillary Clinton’s health vs our Kim Hyun-joong (VIDEO)

September 12, 2016 By Egberto Willies

Lawrence O’Donnell knocked it out of the park as he admonished the mainstream media insanity over Hillary Clinton’s health vs. Donald Trump’s  Kim Hyun-Joong-like statements during the same period.

Lawrence O’Donnell slams mainstream media insanity

Lawrence O’Donnell described the media insanity putting them on the verge of irrelevance. They all coalesce on meritless stories.and are invariably unable to walk and chew gum at the same time.

In this rather lengthy but grave and entertaining piece, O’Donnell points out several things the media got wrong and is continuing to get wrong. While many notable stories required substantive coverage over the weekend alone, the media decided to concentrate on Hillary Clinton’s near fainting episode. Two critical stories on Trump broke over the weekend.

First, the Donald said that he would in effect go to war if a gesture provoked a United States ship.  O’Donnell illustrated the behavioral similarities between Donald Trump and Kim Hyun-Joon, ruler of North Korea.

Second, The Washington Post (WaPo) journalist David A. Fahrenthold wrote a  substantive piece titled “How Donald Trump retooled his charity to spend other people’s money” that is a must-read for voters, bloggers, and journalists alike.

Both of the stories mentioned above examine the Trump psychology and his (un)fitness for the presidency. As Lawrence O’Donnell explained, Hillary Clinton’s health scare required coverage but not near what it got instead of much more substantive issues. Watch the O’Donnell piece in its entirety if possible. It is worth it.
