Roland Martin did not mince words as he slammed the media for giving Donald Trump a platform and he admonished Hillary Clinton’s campaign strategy.

Roland Martin did not hold back on the Donald Trump or the media and had a stark warning for the Hillary Clinton campaign. Roland was asked about Trump finally admitting that President Obama was born in the United States.
“Shameful, despicable, sickening, and absolutely pathetic,” Martin said. “But I think the headline is also, ‘Media got pimped and played by Donald Trump again.’ For the last three to four hours, he has hijacked the news cycle. And what did he do? He gave a twenty-second statement. Look at all the free attention he got, the free media he got. Donald Trump stood there and lied. His actions have been shameful. He could have easily disavowed this long ago. The breaking news is that Donald Trump revealed what America has known for eight years. That’s actually the breaking news. So now at some point, we must be willing to call this what it is. And that is the actions of a sick individual who is willing to lie his way to the White House.”
Martin then admonished the Hillary Clinton campaign. He said that the campaign should listen to Donna Brazile and others to put the necessary resources on the ground in communities where the enthusiasm is low. Why? Because he said, Trump’s troops are very enthusiastic.
