Howard Dean opened a can of worms when he suggested that Donald Trump’s constant snorting during the debate and erratic behavior could be a sign of cocaine use.

Are Howard Dean’s questions about Trump’s possible coke use appropriate?

Former Vermont Governor Howard Dean noted that Donald Trump’s behavior of the debate opens up legitimate questions about possible cocaine use before the debate. Dean tweeted the following questioning Trump’s possible coke use.

howard dean cocaine tweet about trump possible coke use
‘Notice Trump sniffing all the time. Coke user?’

An MSNBC host in a recent interview asked Dean why he went there. He replied that he was not making a TV diagnoses. Dean pointed out however that if one looks at the debate in context, Trump did exhibit the signature of people who use cocaine during the Presidential Debate. And what are the signatures?

  • He continuously sniffed during the debate
  • Grandiosity
  • Delusions (i.e., told 84 million people he was smart not to pay taxes and denied it soon after that)
  • The trouble with pressured speech and uncontrollably interrupting.

When asked if he thought there were similarities between Deans tweet and the Trump’s campaign innuendos about Clinton’s health, Dean said it was not. Donald Trump’s behavior justifies the question.

Governor Dean is simply saying what many were quietly asking. Mr. Trump’s erratic behavior paves the way for that question. One must remember that Donald Trump had a personal and business relation with a cocaine dealer, In fact, he asked a judge to provide leniency for a drug dealer.

Many in the mainstream media are attacking Dean. They are attempting to equate Deans legitimate question with Rudy Giuliani’s health attacks on Clinton. Objectively there is no similarity. Hillary Clinton at the time of the attacks displayed no discernable health problems. Moreover, she released substantive health reports. Donald Trump has not. Americans deserve an answer because of Trump’s behavior.
