Joe Conason and Lisa Bloom slam Donald Trump’s team of misogynists’ attempt to blame Hillary Clinton for Bill’s ill-doings and woman shaming.
Joe Conason, the author of “Man of the World,” addressed the Trump campaign’s new slurs on Clinton.
“It’s misogyny to attempt to blame Hillary Clinton for what her husband did,” Conason said. “It is not an accident that this comes from the Trump campaign now, which has hired or brought in Roger Ailes who was too much of a misogynist for Fox News. He was booted out of there by Rupert Murdoch who is not exactly a progressive on women’s issues. He is okay for the Trump campaign. And he is the one who is directing these attacks on Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton. Her keeping her marriage, by the way, these are people who have been married three times, Trump cheated on his second wife, Giuliani, Newt Gingrich who we saw served divorce papers on his wife in the hospital. Hillary Clinton whether you agree with her or not decided that she wanted to preserve her marriage for her family, for her daughter. That to me is the conservative value. If you are going to talk about conservative values, she is a Methodist. She made marriage vows. And she decided to keep them to the best of her ability.”
Joy-Ann Reid pointed out that Roger Ailes and Trump’s team of misogynists would be empowered in a Donald Trump Presidency.

Civil Rights lawyer Lisa Bloom had some prescient statements.
“Well it turns our that hiring a guy who was just fired for sexual harassment to help you prepare for a debate against a very smart woman who raises misogyny claims against you was not a great strategy,” Bloom said. “Who could imagine such a thing. … Women are going to run Trump our of this campaign. …Donald Trump walked right into her trap. … Ultimately it is women who will win this election.
