Anderson Cooper Slam Dunk: Trump’s Campaign Manager Kellyanne Conway fumbles (VIDEO)

Obama shows how to handle rally hecklers paid or otherwise in Cleveland rally

Anderson Cooper did what Chuck Todd did last week. He allowed a Trump surrogate to hang themselves with their words.

Anderson Cooper grills Tump’s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway

Anderson Cooper gave Trump’s campaign manager just enough rope to hang herself as he called her out for accusing Clinton of what her boss does ad nauseam. Conway was in her normal deflection mode.

“So you believe by bringing up Bill Clinton’s past, by bringing up what you say is enabling by Hillary Clinton,” Cooper said. “Is part of that strategy to lower Democratic turnout?”

Kellyanne went into emoter mode.

“It’s part of the strategy to remind people who Hillary Rodham Clinton actually is,” Conway said. “If others aren’t going to hold her to account for her full record, then yes we will. And her record includes naming and blaming women who came in contact with her husband. … He [Bill Clinton] settled a sexual harassment case for $850,00 for Paula Jones in 1998. The last time I didn’t sexually harass somebody at the campaign I didn’t pay him.”

Was Kellyanne now setting a precedent? Was she saying settling a lawsuit means guilt? Anderson Cooper did not let her get away with it.

“Your candidate has settled numerous lawsuits without admitting any guilt on a whole number of things,” Cooper said. “Are you implying that settling a lawsuit is implying guilt? Because if so it means that your candidate is guilty of a whole lot of things.”

Kellyanne started to go off on a tangent as she gathered her thoughts. Cooper did not let up.

“You are saying settling a lawsuit is questionable and raising questions about guilt,” Cooper continued. “Your client settles lawsuits all the time even though he says he doesn’t.”

Note Cooper called out Conway’s statement and implied Trump is a liar at the same time. Conway continued to stammer. Cooper did not let up. She finally said she believes one of Clinton’s accusers. By then her continued verbiage had to be meaningless even for Trump apologists.
