A Donald Trump supporter, true to form as many in the Alt-Right, threatened to harm Hillary Clinton if she becomes president.
Dan Bowman, Trump supporter threatens Hillary Clinton
Donald Trump fan Dan Bowman overtly threatened to take Hillary Clinton out if she becomes President of the United States. One hopes the Secret Service is taking notes. In fact, one hopes he will be interrogated early to let him know that he will be watch for making threats. The interview with the WSJ journalist was telling.
“How are you feeling right now,” the WSJ journalist asked. “Where things stand with the campaign.”
“I feel like Hillary needs to be taken out,” said Dan Bowman. “If she gets in the government, I’ll do everything in my power to take her out of power. If I have to be a patriot, I will.”
“What does that mean?” WSJ asked.
“Take it any way you want to take it,” Bowman said.
“That sounds like a threat,” they pointed out.
“I’m a patriot,” he responded.
“Is that a physical threat?” WSJ pressed.
“I don’t know. Is it?” he responded. “I won’t have to myself. There’s going to be probably a movement to where we will go and take them out of power. ”
“It sounds like you are saying that it would be acceptable to assassinate a president,” WSJ acknowledged.
“If she screws up,” Bowman said. “Why should she be able to stay in office.”
Dan Bowman also spoke to a Boston Globe reporter where he appeared even more revolutionary.
And if Trump doesn’t win, some are even openly talking about violent rebellion and assassination, as fantastical and unhinged as that may seem.
“If she’s in office, I hope we can start a coup. She should be in prison or shot. That’s how I feel about it,” Dan Bowman, a 50-year-old contractor, said of Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee. “We’re going to have a revolution and take them out of office if that’s what it takes. There’s going to be a lot of bloodshed. But that’s what it’s going to take. . . . I would do whatever I can for my country.”
He then placed a Trump mask on his face and posed for pictures.
I repeat. Donald Trump is a clear and present danger to America.
