Exasperated CNN host asks Trump surrogate to name a poll where he is winning (VIDEO)

Donald Trump surrogates continue to go on TV to spin an alternate reality. But a Clinton surrogate had a prescient message that Clinton supporters must heed.

Disregarded poll numbers as folks should be encouraged just to go vote

Trump surrogate implied that the polls are skewed and tried to make a case that Trump is not losing as badly. There is some truth that Democrats should heed.

Poppy Harlow played a clip where Trump’s campaign manager Maryanne Conway pointed out that in fact, Donald Trump is behind. She implied that there is a disconnect between Trump and Conway. Trump continues to claim that he is winning on the stump as he dismisses the poll numbers.

Scottie Nell Hughes, a conservative political commentator, claimed the polls are skewed. — Does anyone remember the Right Wing unskewed polls web site from the Mitt Romney campaign? — Poppy Harlow became pretty annoyed.

“Am I correct in that you are saying the media is skewing the polling?” Harlow asked.

Hughes said the makeup of the polls did not reflect the correct number of Republicans vs. Independents vs. Democrats. Poppy could take it no more.

“Scottie what polls, Scottie,” Poppy interjected. “Scottie Nell, what polls do you want us to show. I mean, name a poll.”

Hughes named a few of unreliable polls including Rasmussen, Investor Business Daily, and the LA Times tracking poll.

Democratic strategist Hilary Rosen had a prescient message that those wanting a Hillary Clinton win should heed.

“Here is the issue I think,” Hilary Rosen said. “I am going to agree with Scottie a little bit on one point which is that I don’t think national polls are really reflective of where this race is ultimately going to go. This race is really in the battleground states much closer than the national poll spread. And that’s why I think it is important that Kellyanne and Donald Trump get on the same page. Do we say we are ahead or do we say we are behind? That I think is the interesting thing, the message of the day. Hillary Clinton is out there saying, ‘We are not confident. We need you to be out there voting.’ We have a lot at stake in this election and I think that anybody who is out there acting like they are the frontrunner, is making just a strategic mistake. It is not what you want to be telling your voters. You want to be telling your voters kind of what Kellyanne is saying. Which is; There is a lot at stake. We are nervous. We are behind. And we have to get on our forward foot folks. So make sure you get out and vote.”

That is the message Hillary Clinton supporters must heed. They must act accordingly.
