President Obama got the last laugh on a rather callous tweet from Donald Trump disparaging the president with a verifiable false assertion. President Obama started reading a tweet from Trump.
“President Obama will go down as perhaps the worst president in the history of the United States,” Obama read. “Exclamation point, @realDonaldTrump. Well, @realDonaldTrump, at least I will go down as a president.”
The President the summarily dropped his cell phone. A kind of mic drop? Of course, it was.
It is hard to believe that the President and the Hillary Clinton campaign are addressing Donald Trump as they would a middle school student. But that is who we are now. An electorate with a short attention span who lives on Twitter is destined to make bad decisions over and over again.
