Too many news outlets are willing to give Donald Trump a pass for his support for Vladimir Putin. Former Counterintelligence Officer Malcolm Nance did not allow the Vox reporter to get away with the whitewashing.
CounterIntelligence Officer Malcolm Nance did not pull any punches
We need more brave people on TV who are not afraid to call a spade by its name. Counterintelligence officer Malcolm Nance did not disappoint. O’Donnell started the piece by pointing out the various stories that recently hit this week about Trump and his Russian Connections. David Corn’s piece and Franklin Foer’s piece about Trump’s server connecting to Russian servers.
O’Donnell asked Vox’s correspondent Zach Beauchamp what do we know and what don’t we know.
“There have been allegations this week that Donald Trump is actually a Russian agent, ” Beauchamp said. “That he is communicating with Russian state intelligence sources. That’s not substantiated in the least and probably isn’t true.”
Beauchamp went on to say that what we know as a fact is that Russia is trying to influence our election. Zach failed to see that the two concepts are not mutually exclusive. Counterintelligence Officer Malcolm Nance would have none of it.
“I do believe that Trump has been co-opted by Russian intelligence and Vladimir Putin, spymaster in chief himself, over the last five years.”
The video clip is informative.
