President Obama softly admonished male sexism for some of Hillary polls (VIDEO)

November 2, 2016 By Egberto Willies

President Obama is calling out men for a sexism that is evident throughout the 2016 Presidential Campaign. This narrative is far overdue as the chasm between Hillary Clinton’s fitness for office vs. the patent unfitness of Donald Trump.

President Obama adds sexism to the narrative

President Obama had a salient message for males in America as she called out a reality that is dogging the Hillary Clinton campaign. A race between a competent male Democrat of Hillary Clinton’s caliber and Donald Trump would not be close at all. President Obama’s narrative is one that needs to be pushed hard if America is to break out of its bias towards women and others.

“Hillary Clinton is consistently treated differently than just about any other candidate I see out there,” President Obama said. “To the guys out there — I want, to be honest. There is a reason why we hadn’t had a woman president before. .. I want every man out there who is voting to kind of look inside yourself, and ask yourself — If you are having problems with this stuff, how much of it is that we are just not used to it? Guys, ambitious, and out in the public arena and working hard, well that is OK, but when a woman does it, some of you are like ‘Why is she doing that?'”

It is the time that we are honest with ourselves. America claims it is the bastion of freedom striving for equality. Women are elected all of the times throughout many democracies. It is shameful that we have yet to accomplish that task. Now that a woman has gone through the primary process and won, is it not the time to show the world that our people are capable of making the right choice based on qualifications instead of on long-held prejudices?
