MSNBC host calls out another on air for his trumped up Trump coverage (VIDEO)

November 4, 2016 By Egberto Willies

Sorry, there was a YouTube error.

The derelict and timid media through its surrogates are starting to call out each other for their over generous coverage of Donald Trump and his chances. This one raised eyebrows.

Brian Williams called out Mark Halperin for his lousy Trump coverage

Brian Williams called out Mark Halperin on live TV. This one was noteworthy not only for the act itself but for the sarcasm he used with Donald Trump comments on the media. Mark Halperin’s response was less than genuine.

“Mark Halperin, to you, I say this with charity in my heart as an every evening and weekly viewer, when Donald Trump complains that he is not getting favorable coverage in the MSM, he has not been listening to you this cycle,” Brian Williams said. “I think you’ve gone out of your way to find the path, argue for the path, forge the path for him in an argumentative way with your co-host to the nomination. Tonight I thought you were interestingly optimistic. Where are you getting the path of positivity you laid out on your broadcast tonight?”

Mark Halperin’s response shows he is devoid of any analytical acumen even as he then spurts out the analytics that counters many of his past articulations.

“It’s not a question of optimism,” Halperin replied. “It’s a question of looking at the data. And looking at what’s going on in the battleground states. I agree with Steve. She’s still overwhelmingly the favorite. She has many more paths. She’s got the demographics on her side. She’s the got the recent electoral college history that heavily favors the Democratic Party. The polls have tightened. And both campaigns agree they began tightening even before the Comey announcement.”

Just imagine if we had reality-based coverage throughout the 2016 election. American would likely have different candidates then.
