Arnold Schwarzenegger’s response to the childish dig by the president on his Apprentice ratings was epic. It made the President seem as small as he is, morally, temperamentally, and intellectually.

President Trump continues to belittle the presidency. His remarks at the National Prayer Breakfast were embarrassing. But by now we all know he does not have a moral compass.
“We had tremendous success on the Apprentice,” Trump said. “And when I ran for president I had to leave the show. That’s when I knew for sure I was doing it. They hired a big, big movie star, Arnold Schwarzenegger, to take my place. And we know how that turned out. The ratings went right down the tubes. It’s been a total disaster. And Mark will never ever bet against Trump again. And I want to just pray for Arnold if we can.”
Can you believe that was one of the messages from the President at the National Prayer Breakfast? Is that not sad? Well, Arnold’s response was short, sweet, to the point, and civilly belittling.
“Hey Donald,” Arnold responded. “I have a great idea. Why don’t we switch jobs? You take over TV. Because you are such an expert on ratings. And I take over your job. Then people can finally sleep comfortably again.”
