CNN's Jake Tapper has become the most consistent and dependent journalist challenging Donald Trump's lies, alternative facts, and conspiracy theories. In this piece, he displays no fears as he decimates Trump with his words.
Jake Tapper excoriates Donald Trump
CNN's Jake Tapper is likely the most thorough journalists putting Donald Trump under scrutiny for his fake news, conspiracy theories & factless utterances.
Tapper slammed Donald Trump for his response to his firing of his National Security Advisor Michael Flynn. The Administration spokesman emerged and said the President fired Flynn because he lost trust in him. But then later Trump praised Flynn as a wonderful man who was under attack by the 'fake media.'
"The media, of course, did not fire General Flynn," Tapper pointed out. "President Trump did. What the media did do was reveal to the nation that General Flynn had lied to the country and the Trump team including Vice-President Pence when he claimed he never discussed Obama sanctions on Russia with the Russian ambassador. President Trump knew this at least as early as January 26th, but he did not act on this until the media revealed the truth to you and as it turns out to Vice President Pence who learned about it through the media sources say."
Tapper then called out Trump for the following tweet accusing the mainstream media of conspiracy theories and blind hatred.

"Of course these stories in the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN and elsewhere are not conspiracy theories," Tapper said. "These are news stories sourced by government officials. Conspiracy theories are different. They are false. They are crank pots. They are nonsense. How do I illustrate what a conspiracy theory is?"
Tapper then decimated Trump with his words by showing Trump as a conspiracy artist as he questioned President Obama's birthplace and associated Senator Cruz's father with the Kennedy assassination. He also called out Trump's hypocrisy on leaks. Trump was happy with WikiLeaks and FBI leaking against Hillary Clinton during the election, but now he is complaining.
"It's worth pointing out," Jake Tapper said. "It is not a moral position if you only hold it when it applies to you."
Well done Jake Tapper.
