I believe there are sinister machinations in effect that no one is talking about right now. And Mike Pence is an enormous part of this disturbing picture.
Americans gave Republicans a gift they did not expect nor were they ready for anytime soon. We gave them total control of our government. The problem for them is that their leader, President Donald Trump, does not represent their values. Moreover, he continues to embarrass them with his tweets, vulgarity, and many other offensive acts. But what are they to do?
They are playing a game of watchful waiting even as they intend to force his hand to ensure he passes the bills they want. More importantly, while he may not know it yet, all the pieces, in my opinion, are being laid out to ensure either he follows the will of the GOP, lest Mike Pence is patiently waiting for his early ascent to the throne.
