Jake Tapper skewered Donald Trump for his 100-day mark
Tapper took Donald Trump to task for his flip-flopping on the way to his 100-day mark littered with failure and disappointment. Recently Trump has started dismissing the 100-day mark as a “ridiculous standard” even though it is he who touted it continuously and with abandon. Tapper played clip-after-clip showing the president attaching himself to the 100-day mark.
But he didn’t stop with those clips. He played clips that showed Trump’s flip-flops.
Jake Tapper showed Trump saying NATO is obsolete on the campaign trail. Now in the White House with the head of NATO, he said it is no longer obsolete. Tapper’s response was interesting.
“Magic,” Tapper said.
Jake Tapper then showed Trump slamming the unemployment numbers under President Obama. On the campaign trail, he called them fake and a joke. When the same Bureau of Labor Statistics said the unemployment under Trump was 4.7%, Trump sent our Spicer to say they are okay.
Tapper continued showing other flip-flops. Americans were going to get fantastic health care. Now Trump realizes it is hard. Trump signed more executive orders in the first 100-days than any other president. Tapper played a clip where Trump raged against President Obama going against the intent of the founders.
This president is a joke. It is clear that the country will have to function in spite of this president. We must hope he does not take us into the abyss.
