Bill Maher: Americans must be their own superhero against Orange Sphincter (VIDEO)

May 19, 2017 By Egberto Willies

Bill Maher’s New Rule on Real Time was hilarious, real and profound. After drawing the connection between the myriad of Hollywood’s superhero movies, he closed the segment by imploring Americans to fight Donald Trump, the Orange Sphincter. Maher brought it home.

Bill Maher wants the people to take it to the Orange Sphincter

Bill Maher traces blame for the rise of the Orange Sphincter, Donald Trump, on Hollywood’s mass release of superhero indoctrinating movies.

“And finally, New Rule,” Maher said. “And this one goes out to our own show business industry here in Hollywood. You can go ahead and make every TV show and movie about the exact same thing. But if you do you can’t call the newspaper that covers that industry, Variety.”

Maher then said Conservatives believe Hollywood ruined America by promoting race mixing, drugs, and twisted smut. ”

“But that is not how Hollywood ruined America,” Bill complained. “They did it by making everything about superheroes.”

Bill then gave the names of several TV shows — Daredevil, Flash, Gotham, Supergirl, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Arrow Preacher, Iron Fist, The Defender, The Gifted, The Punisher, Krypton, Inhumans.

He then called out some from the movies — Captain America III, X-Men VI, Batman vs. Superman, Deadpool, Doctor Strange, Suicide Squad, Ninja Turtle V, Wolverine III, Lego Batman, Wonder Woman, Justice League, Spider-Man VI, Thor III, The Can.

“If you are asking what’s the problem? Maher said. “The problem is that superhero movies imprint this mindset that we are not masters of our own destiny. And the best we can do is sit back and wait for  Star-Lord and a f$cking raccoon to sweep in and save our sorry asses. Forget hard work, government institutions,  diplomacy, investment. We just need a hero to rise. And so we put out the bat signal for one man who can step in and solve all of our problems very quickly. And that is how we got our latest superhero, Orange Sphincter [aka Donald Trump]”

Maher had some fun with Trump’s big lie and then continued.

“It would be funnier if so many people in this country didn’t really believe in Orange Sphincter,” Maher said. “Didn’t really believe that he possesses super deal-making powers and a superior brain that can solve in minutes issues that plagued the country for decades. After all, he has actually said in a short period of time, ‘I understood everything there was to know about healthcare. And it would take an hour and a half to learn everything there is to learn about missiles. … Peace between Israel and the Palestinians, it is something that I think is frankly maybe not as difficult as people have thought over the years.’ Yes because they were mere mortals whereas Orange Sphincter like all superheroes doesn’t feel a need to play by the rules on tax returns,  fraternizing with the enemy, grabbing pussies, respecting facts, conflicts of interests. These are all the concerns of smaller men as he put it during an address to the people of earth — ‘I alone can fix it.'”

Bill Maher then implores Americans to end the story the right way. After all, the new superhero is the villain.

“So how does this superhero story ends? Maher asked. “What is the faith of Orange Sphincter? Well, this one is a little bit trickier because in this one the superhero is the villain. And that should make us all remember that in this fight for America, we need to be our own superheroes.

The above is a message we should heed. It is true that we are subliminally programmed to yearn for a savior or someone to magically solve our problems when the mirror reflects the only ones capable of doing so. The election of Donald Trump should innoculate us from this disease for the foreseeable future. But we must first get out of this quandary.
