Alex Jones melts down as Seattle resident throw coffee in his face (VIDEO)

August 18, 2017 By Egberto Willies

Sorry, there was a YouTube error.

Alex Jones got a little more than he bargained for as he tried to engage people on the streets in Seattle Washington.

If you wonder why the folks that follow Alex Jones are so brainwashed, this is what he does day in and day out. It is deeper than just conspiracy theories.

Jones is attempting to use the expressive disgust that many people have for his form of journalism and politics as the definition of what a Liberal or Progressive look like in general. Jones and his ilk must demonize Progressives for one particular reason, to ensure that they are toxic to his audience.

One does not open the mind to anyone deemed toxic. That is the mountain we must overcome. Unless we get Jones’ cohort to listen, we can’t make a change. Ultimately the only solution is to engage these folks in a manner that is anathema to the impression they have of Liberals. Unfortunately, sometimes Liberals play right into their hands.

I have an approach that works. The only problem is that it is time-consuming. It’s call listening and listening even when I hear things that make my blood boil. I then ask them to explain their positions in detail calmly. I followingly ask them for a set of solutions for the problems. For each solution that makes no sense I ask them, again calmly, to detail their solutions. Believe it or not, they ultimately come out with Progressive solutions. I then end with; I can live with that.

The reality is Progressives are on the right side. If we allow people to think, it is the solution that they come out with except for social issues which require a different approach.
