There are no Liberal media. There is no Progressive bias to the mainstream media. It is a narrative used by the right to neuter the media which tempers reporting about the lies that define their ideology. It is for this reason that Progressive bloggers and sites are of utmost importance now.

Charlotte Vaughan Coyle
Charlotte Vaughan Coyle lives in Paris TX and blogs about intersections of faith, culture and politics on her website and Intersections Facebook page. She serves as national president of Coffee Party USA and contributes regularly to the Join the Coffee Party Movement Facebook page. Crooks and Liars is an award-winning site for progressive news and media criticism. Started by John Amato in 2004, Crooksandliars.com was the first website to feature audio and video online, revolutionizing how political news is consumed and distributed on the Internet.
Daily Kos
Daily Kos has the largest audience in liberal media, ranked a top-100 site in the United States by Quantcast among ALL sites, with 18.5 million unique visitors and over 80 million page views in November 2016. We have an email list that is 3 million strong—1 million of that accumulated just since the election. Our content is typically viewed by 60 million people on Facebook every week, with about 20 million engaging with it (commenting, sharing, liking). There is a resistance brewing in this country, and it is making Daily Kos its home.
Democratic Underground
Democratic Underground is an online community where politically liberal people can do their part to effect political and social change by Interacting with friendly, like-minded people; Sharing news and information, free from the corporate media filter; Participating in lively, thought-provoking discussions; Helping elect more Democrats to political office at all levels of American government; and Having fun! Democratic Underground hosts the most active liberal discussion board on the Internet. They are an independent website funded by member subscriptions and advertising and have no affiliation with the Democratic Party. Democratic Underground is a truly grassroots community where regular members drive the discussion and set the standards. There is no other website quite like it anywhere on the Internet.
Egberto Willies
Egberto Willies is a political activist, author, political blogger, radio show host, business owner, software developer, web designer, and mechanical engineer in Kingwood, TX. He is an ardent Liberal that believes tolerance is essential. His favorite phrase is “political involvement should be a requirement for citizenship”. Willies is currently a contributing editor to DailyKos, OpEdNews, and several other Progressive sites. He was a frequent contributor to HuffPost Live. He won the 2nd CNN iReport Spirit Award and was the Pundit of the Week.
Elisabeth Parker
Elisabeth Parker is a Progressive blogger whose blog posts are distributed on several popular activist websites. Her writing gets quite a bit of attention on several news outlets. Elisabeth currently lives in the Pacific Northwest.
Media Matters
Media Matters for America is a Web-based, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) progressive research and information center dedicated to comprehensively monitoring, analyzing, and correcting conservative misinformation
in the U.S. media. Launched in May 2004, Media Matters for America put in place, for the first time, the means to systematically monitor a cross section of print, broadcast, cable, radio, and Internet media outlets for conservative misinformation – news or commentary that is not accurate, reliable, or credible and that forwards the conservative agenda – every day, in real time.
Mother Jones
Mother Jones is a reader-supported nonprofit news organization and the winner of the American Society of Magazine Editors’ 2017 Magazine of the Year Award. Our staff does independent and investigative reporting on everything from politics and climate change to education and food (plus cat blogging). Some 11 million people come to this site each month, and we also publish a bimonthly, 200,000-circulation magazine. Last year was our 40th anniversary, and to celebrate we published an award-winning 35,000-word undercover exposé on private prisons, redesigned the site and magazine, and launched an acclaimed food podcast called Bite.
