Anthony Scaramucci‘s face said it all as David Frum put him on the defensive. He lost his normal hood-like tone as he had to temporarily search for words. Sadly, Bill Mager came to his rescue.

David Frum took the opportunity he had on Real Time with Bill Maher to ask Anthony Scaramucci a question he did not appreciate.
“I have a question for you. Before you went into government, you received an enormous offer from a Chinese group, for the purchase of your company, $90 million, and after you came out the purchasers lost interest. How am I to understand that?”
Scaramucci said the question was “factually inaccurate.” Bill Maher then attempted to come to the defense of Scaramucci as he tried to change the subject.
It is clear Bill Maher is trying to keep his program opened to skittish Right Wingers who fear his show. David Frum attempted to take the show to a more serious place. Unfortunately, Bill Maher in his defense of Anthony Scaramucci shows he is definitely more concerned for the latter.
David Frum deserve kudos for confronting Scaramucci who is a bully in these types of environments.
