Bill Maher was on point with his panelist as they made the point clearly how inept the Democratic Establishment has been in codifying the attack portion of their messaging that keeps the GOP’s many severe evil acts on the minds of the electorate.

Bill Maher and his panel gave Democrats a necessary tongue lashing for their inability to message the myriad of GOP evils & failures effectively.
Shermichael Singleton, a Republican consultant, pointed out rightly that Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer have been AWOL in creating and articulating a message from the Democratic Establishment that effectively neutralizes Trump and his minions.
“You know you know speaks best on this issue,” Bill Maher said. “It’s all those people, mostly on your network, — Nicole Wallace, Charlie Sykes, Steve Schmidt, Rick Wilson, — they talk more than any Democrat I see. They talk about this Russia issue with a moral urgency. You can see that they’re absolutely apoplectic that they’re losing their country. And also they do, it’s in the Republican DNA to if they see a poll they’re not afraid it, to change it. Democrats see the poll saying, ‘the people don’t care about Russia.’ Yeah, because you don’t make it an issue, you can’t make treason an issue.”
But journalist John Heilemann had the most prescient message of them all.
“Here is the snapshot of our two parties at this moment,” John Heilemann said. “This week, President Donald Trump has more support from his party than any president in the modern history of America. His support among Republicans is higher than any president has ever had in his own party. That’s the Republican Party. I love Steve Schmidt. I love Nicole Wallace. They are outliers. They are oddballs in the Republican Party which is now fully for Donald Trump. On the other side, you have a Democratic Party that faced with this Republican Party, a Republican Party that up to the president the United States, endorsed and rallied around a child molester in Alabama in December; six months ago. What have you heard from a single Democrat since then, that the Republican Party as a collective endorsed a child molester? No one makes that point. We have forgotten already.”
This is a problem that Democrats continue to have. They are ineffective in going for the jugular. Americans want people they believe will fight for them. Republicans who are generally wrong about everything are good at staying on message and showing strength. Think how great it would be if we could get Democrats to do that consistently.
