Many are in despair because they finally understand that Trump’s evil legacy will live on in the stacking of the courts with Right Wing ideologues that could overturn women’s rights, civil rights, and much more. I think many are giving Americans false hope. I won’t. This plan is the only option to work with the loss of the Supreme Court for a generation.
Assuming that massive mobilization of people will stop Republicans from placing whoever Trump nominates for the Supreme Court is risky. A failure near the election may be very demoralizing and spiraling into folks feeling irrelevant.
I think we must encourage protest and continue the resistance. Progressive activists must lay the groundwork, the modus operandi, assuming Trump will get his desired Supreme Court Justice. All is not lost.

They must concurrently educate Americans, from sea to shining sea, from the coasts to Appalachia, from the barrios to the ghettos. They must sell Progressive values through their own narrative as opposed to though that of the Plutocracy.
During the 2016 election, Trump made it clear he was going to nominate judges based on a litmus test. We must deem Trump’s utterances along with judges overturning the will of the people on dubious constitutional grounds, an impeachable offense.

So well said Egberto. We will impeach any judge that tries to make law and we will do this as much we see this being done. Oh it is not hard!! All these 5 to 4 outcomes are not on the up and up. These Judges all study law. The law books are all there, they all have to pass the bar. Yes there can be disagreement, but always 5 to 4. No way. These Judges must be the last resort of a law. Any decision that has been handed down from from other courts, must be studied and shown why it was overruled. Ant law that went to the Supreme Court a second time or a third time must have a unanimous verdict to over turn.
