The Trump effect continues in full trend, and I will continue to point out the fact that some white people throughout the country are systematically calling police officers on people of color just for being in their proximity. Is this the America you want.
These people are putting people of color in mortal danger. Every time there is an encounter with the police, reality has shown us that people of color in every condition, passive or belligerent can find themselves at risk of being killed.
Police called on this black boy delivering newspapers
RawStory reported the following.
Police in Ohio are denying that racial profiling played any part after police confronted a 12-year-old black paperboy in the latest scandal over people calling 9-1-1 to report “completely benign” behavior by people of color. The child’s mother posted a Facebook post on Friday explaining the police response to delivering newspapers on the “first day” of the child’s paper route.
Posting a photos of her son delivering the papers in shorts and a Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) T-shirt, the child’s mother, Brandie Sharp, explained what happened.
“First day of paper route and we are pulled over by police,” the mother wrote. “Sad I cant even teach my son the value of working without someone whispering and looking at us out the side of their eye perhaps because we don’t ‘look like a person that belongs in their neighborhood.’”
“Police officer pulls up and ask us questions as if we were intruding in their area,” she explained. “Totally disgusted and disturbed that this kind of behavior still exist.”
People of color for some time could only hope that it wasn’t their turn to get that bad cop that occurs much too often. We simply do not see the police as reliable allies. Recently a Latina woman videoed a classic example of a police officer allowing a white man to terrorize her.
The Trump Effect will continue until you make your neighbors who partake in this behavior are made to feel shame and ostracized for a most unamerican behavior. Right now they almost bask in their Trumpian behavior.

These instances of blatant racism need to be called out at every turn until the pattern becomes apparent to all.
After checking news sources, and all sides of the story, it seems to be Sharp wrongly accusing the police and neighbors of racism.
The one actually looking through racist eyes, is Sharp. She acknowledges suspicious behavior, but doesn’t consider how that would look to a stranger to her who lives in the neighborhood.
