Ignore the hype. Trump will still be President in 2020

January 18, 2019 By Egberto Willies

Donald Trump is an aberration. Neither Barack Obama or Bill Clinton would have gotten away with the things he gets away with all of the times. And it is that pattern that will continue for the foreseeable future.

I monitor MSNBC, CNN, and sometimes Fox News throughout the day because aside from social media, that is where the politically interested get their political news. For some time I have been telling our audience that they must drive the narrative because the mainstream media is consumed with all aspects of Trump, Russia, and issues that do not immediately affect the systemic nature, the diseased American economic structure that has metastasized throughout most of our population.

Recently, the normalcy of media dereliction continued. BuzzFeed released a new story. According to their article, Donald Trump told Michael Cohen to lie about a Russia deal. First, does anyone doubt that that occurred? Is that really an all-consuming story deserving of taking over all aspects of the airwaves on all networks? Of course not.

The shallowness and detachment of our media from reality, from the people, is apparent. Unfortunately, it is by design.

It is not in the interest of the Plutocracy, the advertisers on these networks to have any of these networks do any in-depth reporting about the ills around the country. It is not in their interest to report in detail and with the necessary gravity the reality that under the Trump administration, bad businesses have been able to realize their most impossible dream. Laissez-faire reins.

We continue to turn a corrupt president who should be reported on as a story of massive corruption as an everyday news release. They’ve divided the president’s wrongdoings into an administration-long-lasting multi-episode sick dramatic series.

Donald Trump keeps giving. In a macabre kind of way, the Plutocracy is vested in him from many directions. The media loves him for ratings and they will not highlight any in-depth reporting that will ward off their advertisers. The corporatocracy loves him because they get a blank check to pollute the environment, rip-off Americans, and ultimately do as they please.

Those of you waiting for a Trump impeachment will likely be left wanting. As long as he continues to serve the elite, their wards will continue to yank our chains into frenzies seeking a resolution that will never be fulfilled. How much further can we fall?
