I interviewed Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez at Netroots Nation 2017. It was clear then to me that she would win that race.
The reason so many pundits are obsessed with her is that she is no pushover and is not afraid to push the Progressive values she and most of the country believes in. As I pointed out in my article “Why they fear Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez,” they understand the dangerous power her words and the passion and conviction have on the status quo. And if it catches on, it will revolutionize our politics. Progressive must have this woman’s back.
