Indivisible Houston and other Progressives at protest show how to handle disruptors

February 20, 2019 By Egberto Willies

Sorry, there was a YouTube error.

Anyone who has ever watched a MAGA event knows that they are none too kind to disruptors in their midst. In fact, on cue from our President as the instigator, they get riled into frenzies as they attack. Indivisible Houston and other Progressives recently put on a clinic in handling MAGA infiltrators.

Daniel Cohen, President of Indivisible Houston, sent me the video of an event covering their objection to President Trump calling a State of Emergency to build his border wall. Indivisible Houston conducts weekly protests against Senator John Cornyn. Morphing into a protest against the president’s unconstitutional act was apropos.

MAGA infiltrated Indivisible Houston Protest

Indivisible Houston protest in Houston Texas objecting to President Trump’s declaration of a state of emergency.

During the protest, MAGA infiltrators unleashed a “Trump 2020” banner and started chanting through their megaphone as they infiltrated the Progressive action.

According to Cohen, “I think one of our activists, Ira Dember was the first to realize what was happening.” The crowd immediately and peacefully surrounded the infiltrators and drowned out their megaphone.

No one ever touched these infiltrators, blooded them up, are got caustic with them. After all, we are all just Americans with different points of view.

The group chanted one important reality, if one looks at the polls of Americans, there are more of us than them. And more are realizing that Progressive policies are the only ones that will get us out of our disadvantaged and middle-class economic downfall.

The Houston Police Department came and escorted the disruptors out of the Progressive rally after a few minutes. The MAGA infiltrators know they were in a safe space. It is the reason they could come out in such small numbers and still feel safe making a statement. Sadly, I do not believe that will ever be the case at a Trump inspired rally. When we have a president who offers to bail out those who assault the opposition, it is clear.
