We touched on several topics on Tamara for Georgia today that everyone should listen to in this short segment in its entirety. It did not only present a few issues that may have initially seem disjointed, Venezuela, Walmart, Empathy, and personal stories. It connected them in a manner that one will find enlightening and actionable.
In the national/international segment in which I appear on every Friday on Tamara for Georgia, I wanted to discuss Venezuela. At first, I was a bit apprehensive in bringing the subject up because the hosts had a far-reaching conversation that initially seemed anathema to the subject. But Robby L. Caban, David Slavin, and Tamara Johnson Shealey made it easy to tie the conversation right into the subject.
I recently interviewed, Francisco Santos, the former Vice-President of Colombia who is now the Colombian ambassador to the U.S., and confirmed based on his answers that the United States is one of the principal instigators of the chaos in Venezuela. They are intent on ousting Nicolas Maduro by any means necessary. As I told the hosts of the show, I have seen this play before. We are at the preamble similar to when George HW Bush

David Slaving chimed in to remind us that all parties played a part and is playing a part in these neoliberal developments. Robby then tied our international behavior to being a catalyst for many terrorist acts against us.
We tied the American involvement with the Venezuelan crisis to local politics by pointing out that it is being used as both a distraction and a reason for the Plutocrats to continue their support for Donald Trump. First, the distraction by associating Socialism to Venezuela imparts false fears in Americans which could leave the gullible to support a president they neither want or like. Second, the Plutocracy can expect a larger piece of the pie after the U.S. installs a puppet government in Venezuela.
We ended by pointing out that reaching Americans in a form to have them understand how all these issues are connected require us to reach them in a form that is palatable. Telling stories that touches them through their passions and vulnerability is what we must learn to do effectively. We must go where they are physically and
