Interview with activist Eleanor Goldfield discussing the state of our democracy and more

March 23, 2019 By Egberto Willies

Sorry, there was a YouTube error.

Every so often I like to bring back activists who I’ve interviewed before or discussed their material. Eleanor Goldfield holds that distinction for one specific reason; she is not only very good at doing but very good at articulating the Progressive message.

I recently watched several of Eleanor Goldfield’s shows, Act Out! which is featured on Free Speech TV and at her website ArtKillingApathy.com. I thought it was time to have her again on Politics Done Right. She did not disappoint.

Eleanor spoke on the plight of millennials. She pointed out that many feel they no longer had anything to lose.

She spoke on the state of the country. “We are an empire,” she said. She recalled a tweet that was quite amusing to her which said something to the effect that we are like the fall of the Roman Empire but just on WiFi.

On capitalism, “The fall of capitalism will either kill us,” she said. “Or we kill the fall of capitalism.”

One of her most prescient statements while mild should be terrifying to many as speaks to our state of indoctrination. “Human adaptability is what has gotten us this far,” she said. “But now it is killing us.”

Eleanor Goldfield is wise beyond her years. Us knowing that we have up and coming millennials who are not buying into the fallacies of our fraudulent economic and social systems is refreshing.
