I sometimes wonder why the Democratic Establishment spend so much money on overpaid analysts. The reality is that when we win, it is in spite of their general advice. Joe Biden is supposed to be the guy that Donald Trump fears the most. It is yet another ruse.
If Joe Biden were to make it through the primaries, Trump and his machine will slaughter him. There is already a plausible narrative that will ostensibly skim both black and women voters. Worse, when one looks at the 2018 election and where the new Democratic voters are emanating from, he does not fit the profile. The one saving grace is that history is not kind to the frontrunner in fairly unrigged Democratic Primaries.
Joe Biden is a good man. He genuinely believes that his pragmatism and moderateness is good for the country. The Plutocracy can live with that. The reality is that the status quo is now a clear and present danger to the middle-class and the poor.
Too many continue to live abstracted from those who bad policies affect immensely. For those impacted, a marginal step may not be worth it. They may vie for a Trump reelection under the same premise many told me they did it in the first place, to disrupt the elite. Unfortunately, while that is Trump’s rhetoric, he has no intention of doing so. We need a candidate that will be boldly Progressive who does not fear to sell Americans what they already want and making it attainable for them.

“It is yet another rouse.” Did you mean “ruse”?
I feel he is another Hillary Clinton. His fight with Warren on the credit card bill says it all. He is a sweet guy, and much more charismatic than she is, but essentially the same establishment pick.
ps the word is ruse (to trick), not rouse (to awaken)
You are wrong, most people are going to vote anyone but Trump so that is one aspect that raises his chances. Second, he has a better chance than any of the other candidates. All Trump has to do is start crying Socialism and it will ignite his base and scare others into putting up with him for another 8 years. Finally, Biden can wind the rust belt states which Trump won by a narrow margin. This is just another baseless article needed to bring attention to your site. Nice try but will we see in 2020!
You keep believing that my friend. This is the same response when I predicted a Trump win. I just look at the data along with sentiment I get on the ground. It was not an attack but an analysis. You are correct though about wanting folks to come to my site. In fact I would beg if I thought it would be effective given the misinformation or malinformation out there that would have you come at me as you did. Be well.
Author is correct.
Voted for Trump last time around. Run Sanders and I, along with a number of other republicans and Independents will consider switching over. Because then wealth inequality, and solutions to that issue, would be in play. If nothing can be done about that, and nothing is what Biden offers, we’ll take Trump, who has a more aggressive stance on China than anyone the dems are currently fielding. Trump will continue to make wealth inequality worse and, eventually, it’ll blow up. Possibly violently, possibly not, but we’ll end up a social democracy. Not ideal, as all this could be drastically improved by reverting to a pre-Regan tax and inheritance footing, stopping US investment and business engagement with countries that engage in massive human rights abuses and penalizing the wealthy for moving liquid assets out of the country, but you do what you can with what you’ve got. And at least China won’t continue its advance unchecked under Trump.
When my republican friends and I agree that, while greed is good, things are getting absurd and WE think there’s a need for the rich to pay more in taxes, the dems have an opening they can exploit, but not with someone like Biden. Hell, your front runner is going on about billionaires not being a problem in a time of historic income disparity. Dude is Republican light from a by-gone era. Terrible choice for a democratic candidate to oppose Trump. Income disparity is the main point of attraction if you want to sway moderate republicans and independents. Run Sanders this time and its a toss up. Trump may still win, but so might Sanders. I will have a choice to make, which is more than I can say for the last election. Run Biden and Trump wins again.
