Activist chastises teary-eyed response to Trump’s racism in lieu of real action.

Renown Houston activist Keshia Thomas felt compelled to make a statement on teary-eyed CNN host Victor Blackwell hurt feelings over Trump’s latest racist comments. She points out that Trump has been president for a long time now. We all know he is a bigot. It is unnecessary for there to be any emotional reactions to his remarks given their shallowness and emptiness that mimic their source.

Activist Keshia Thomas on teary-eyed responses to Trump’s racism

I was upset when I watched Victor Blackwell’s reaction mostly because it played right into Donald Trump’s faux-strength. He made a man cry. The truth is that Donald Trump’s words have no meaning. In fact, given the empty vessel that he is, his attempt is to devoid others of their own substance. Those who react as if his utterances mean anything outside his warped existence give him strength and reverence from his posse.

Watch Keshia Thomas’ entire video. It is enlightening in that it is proactive.

“You have to put things in context and consider who the source is,” Keshia states. “We already know that Trump is a bigot.”

She went on to state she would use the visibility presented by the racist attack to qualify the reason why Baltimore is in less than an optimal state. She is not worried about the President demeaning the city. She wants to turn the table and specify all the Reagan-inspired cuts that are responsible for much of the city’s plight. Reporters should do the research to show the decline relative to funding.

“I don’t care about anything else except about how we are going to get our kids, the ones that are caught in this battle of adults into a better life,” the activist said. “You are grown, men. Tearing up on camera I get it. I understand it. But … Continue to tear up because some reality star who continuously shows you who he is has hurt your feelings. ‘You want to be a leader? ‘You want to be speaking for the black community? Well, speak up about what needs to happen. What needs to change. Put your feelings in a box.”

Keisha Thomas then gave an action plan. She said to fire back at the White House. Start tweeting messages to change the conversation to what it should be.

I speak to hundreds of people weakly directly and indirectly. I have not seen this level of distress ever. People feel unsure and insecure. It is the job of the activists to motivate and empower the masses to fight the necessary fight.
