I enjoyed the debate. First of all, Bernie Sanders looked great. It is evident that his coronary artery is wide open as he seemed very strong and lucid. Hell, the person who had the most problems keeping their thoughts cohesive was Joe Biden.
It is clear that today the target in the debate was Elizabeth Warren. She handled the onslaught better than Joe Biden did when he was the frontrunner. It is clear she has the intellect to stand up against anyone especially Donald Trump. She does not cave.
Bernie Sanders made it clear to Biden that in fact, it is the Progressive policies that will give Democrats the win. He made Biden look rather small and rudderless.
I was most impressed when the moderator asked Elizabeth Warren about a tax increase on the middle-class for her Medicare for All stance. She refused to fall for the soundbite clip the corporate mainstream media is looking for constantly. I think along with the Progressive media she needs to lay the groundwork for the Medicare for All tax questions answered in a manner to shut down the bite of the question. The answer should read as follows:
Medicare for All will lower the taxes of most middle-class Americans because health insurance premiums are taxes paid to private corporations who skim billions of it before the first medical bill is paid, to pay rich shareholders and undeserving overpriced executives while denying coverage and drugs to American.
