I had to do a double-take when I saw the president asking about injecting disinfectant and using light to somehow treat a virus that has invaded the body. Does he not understand that to some those words coming out of the president’s mouth is deemed to be medical advice for many of those who follow him in a cult-ish manner?
Trump gives what is tantamount to medical COVID-19 advice
The following statement makes this president a clear a clear and present danger to America.
“I see the disinfectant that knocks it out in a minute, one minute,” Trump said during Thursday’s coronavirus press conference. “And is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside, or almost a cleaning? Because you see it gets inside the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it would be interesting to check that.”
Further down in the briefing, Trump looked at Dr. Birx and asked if she had any knowledge of heat or light being used as a potential treatment for COVID-19. The poor doctor seemed in utter horror as she answered the question as it had some sort of validity.
“Not as a treatment,” Birx responded seeming not enjoying being in the position to take the question. “I mean, certainly fever is a good thing. When you have a fever, it helps your body respond.”
The incompetence, lack of knowledge, and narcissism of this president along with being surrounded by sycophants who fail to ensure that Trump does not cause harm is directly responsible for the deaths of thousands of Americans. Until he is removed from office, things for the general population will get substantially worse. One hopes that the rich people who benefit from the fiscal irresponsibility emanating from his administration understand that it is not sustainable and will ultimately be their demise as well.
