Presumptuous white woman tries to stop man from painting Black Lives Matter on his own home

June 14, 2020 By Egberto Willies

*

She assumes the home isn’t his. It gets tiring. Is there any wonder the blood pressure of POCs is higher in the aggregate? This woman’s disrespect was palpable. No man or woman should go through this. It seems likely in short order we are forcing an atonement.

The man she confronted handled it well.

See the entire episode here.

NBC reported it as follows:

On Tuesday, Juanillo began to stencil the Black Lives Matter message with chalk when he was approached by who he references as “Karen” inquiring if he is the property owner. …

The woman, who identifies herself as Lisa and accompanied with a man who identifies himself as Robert, then tells Juanillo it’s private property and that he is defacing it. She later goes on in the video and claims to know the owner. …

Juanillo said he thinks he was approached because he is a person of color suspected of tagging on someone else’s property.

“Makes me feel like we all need to fight,” Juanillo said. “When you see racism…speak your truth. Don’t let it go, it’s time.”

When does it end?

The world is going mental. Here we see someone who sees someone else painting a slogan on their neighbours property…which frankly most people wouldn’t do, especially their own. If someone were doing that on my neighbours property I would want to know, irrespective of whether that person was white, blue, black, filipino or pink with yellow polka dots. Frankly it looks like this guy set the whole situation up with his camera ready. If it really is his property, he should be grateful the neighbours were looking out for it! The guy should be ashamed of himself, the woman’s husband got fired because of this. If you actually listened to what she said she was being entirely reasonable for the most part, the only mistake she made was not knowing he was the owner. All homeowners beware, don’t look out for your neighbours, because they might end up sh###### on you. I am not a fox news listener or a trumpist, I hate them both, but this is just taking it all too far IMHO and handing trumpists a big fat hand wrapped present. We cannot achieve a fairer society if we go completely in the other direction, we will just create new victims and new injustices. Also, if people aren’t allowed to make risk assessments and judgements based on whats unusual and anomalous, we may as well just all go around sticking our hands in naked flames, since it would be judgmental to assume that every one will burn you.
