Joe Biden made it clear that something is wrong with Donald Trump and his followers who believe in or promote QAnon and conspiracy theories.
Joe Biden blasts Trump on QAnon
The following exchange was brilliant.
“Let’s get on a somewhat related topic,” the reporter asked. “What would you say to the supporters of the QAnon, the people who believe in that conspiracy, what they think is true about America, that there’s sex trafficking and a conspiracy against President Trump? And what would you say to President Trump for not rejecting that conspiracy and the people who believe in it?”
“I’ve been a big supporter of mental health, I’d recommend that people who believe it maybe should take advantage while it still exists in the Affordable Care Act,” Biden replied. “It’s bizarre, totally bizarre. And now, have you guys found that planeload of people in uniforms, and weapons, and flying around? I mean, have you found them yet? Is there anybody even from… By the way, I respect conservatism and liberal points of view in the press. Anybody found that plane? What in God’s name are we doing? Look at how it makes us look around the world, it’s mortified, it’s embarrassing, and it’s dangerous. If the president doesn’t know better, which I… He has to know better, and my Lord we’re in much more trouble than I ever thought we were. It’s bizarre.
Joe Biden was not done.
“And this is a case where I’ve been surprised, Biden said. “pleased, but surprised with folks I’ve had political arguments with like the former governor of Michigan coming out and endorse me, all the Republicans are endorsing me, they’ll reach where, that this can’t go on, I mean, this cannot go on. It’s a deconstruction of a democratic system, they know it. So, I just… I’ll conclude with what you heard me say times before, the words of a president matter, even a lousy president, it gives succor, it gives encouragement to people who are spouting irrational views that no one has even close to ever presuming or showing ever existed. And it’s done for a simple reason, from the very beginning he’s understood the only way he could win the first time and can win this time is he fundamentally divides the nation, puts the nation… Divides us so we’re at each other’s throats, that’s not who we are.”

I’ve always chuckled about Q bullshit.
Had a lot of discussions about discussing some things in a public forum and finally, there is an allowance to do so.
I also have a Q clearance, rather than N clearance, which is basically a SECRET clearance for things nuclear, Q is basically a Top Secret, SCI clearance for things nuclear. Only, it’s an AEC level clearance.
So, the mythical Q could discuss, if the individual was real, could discuss with me, within a SCIF, precisely what goes where in a fission bomb, boosted fission bomb or even a thermonuclear bomb (fission-fusion, fission-fusion-fission, layer cake from hell, whatever and some specific technologies within a nuclear and thermonuclear warhead). That was from early on in my military career.
Later, due to that clearance, I got standard security clearances, day one, despite duties, started at Secret, if I needed it, Top Secret.
This is getting unwieldy.
Brevity codes:
C = Confidential.
S = Secret.
TS = Top Secret.
N= Nuclear sensitive data equivalent to Secret.
Q= Top Secret, SCI (Sensitive Compartmented Information). See the deathly harrows or something, within code worded groups, nobody outside of those groups gets to learn the totality of what needs to go with what to make device X work.
Held both a Q, early on, that qualified me, with some investigation, for higher and broader TS general, then get read into groups I needed to know something about for operational purposes.
Everything has its section and data owner, who authorizes disclosure, the latter, rarer than hen’s fangs.
Q “introduced” him or herself as Q, claiming a Q clearance, with precisely zero bona fides. I’ve done similar, but at least I’ve brushed the clearance levels, go to US Government sources or even Wikipedia for precisely what each general C, S, TS and SCI are for more information, it’s not a very long read, “release of which causes X damage…”.
Q never bothered with that, already shady.
People claiming to be Q, perhaps the original, more likely not, made nastydammit prophesies and yada, yada, bozos ate it up. Honestly, sounds to me, based upon other experiences that I cannot discuss, like a disinformation campaign.
“Q” increasingly grows more vague, hence believers in the new religion, more precise.
OK, given my claimed and verifiable, if you have access to JPAS and I verify in, clearance, I’ll make a prediction. On a specific Monday, the day will be lousy for most of your office. Then, magical event will occur.
Note the pattern? Broad date, non-specific prediction of something.
Failure mode is, specific, granular predictions.
Real world is, when OBL was eliminated, I was as surprised as you to the event. I already knew that it was coming, once he was found, which is well, predictably, the same. Not part of that working group or bigot list, no access and honestly, I really am comfortable with that.
Be part of that controlled access list and there was a leak, you’ll swiftly learn what a pain in the balls that is!
So, frankly, I find Q as literally existing as I find the tooth fairy.
