Former RNC Chair Michael Steele did not mince his words. He was discussing Trump’s dismissing of blue states’ outcomes with COVID-19.
RNC Chair Michael Steele is pissed
The Fmr. RNC Chair made it clear that he does not believe that there us anything most of us can do to convince a sect in America to divest from their Trump cultish behavior.
Asked if he thinks Trump supporters knowing COVID-19 is killing people in the States would make a difference, Steele’s answer was epic and sad.
“They don’t care,” Steele said. “I have talked to enough of them over the last few days, and I am exhausted. I am exasperated. You know at this point it’s like save who you can save. Because there is just so much you can do, only so much you can say.”
After doing a whole more exasperating, Michael Steele asked the prescient questions.
“Can we vote like right now?” Steele asked.
Michael, the answer is that in many states, you can. Be out there telling all to vote now and vote appropriately. It is not enough to call out the Trump supporters. If we are to win big, we must engage them. We will convince some to do the right thing.

Only one problem with going out and voting or even voting by mail. Quite a few states ballots have court stays in place, due to GOP funded litigation trying to install other parties candidates onto the ballot, such as the Green party candidate in Pennsylvania.
Given the speed of our courts, those ballots might be allowed to be printed two or three days after election day.
But, never fear, I’m sure that Trump has an executive order proclaiming an emergency and do over year, to then be followed by an executive order declaring him president for life. Wouldn’t normally be worth the ink wasted on the document, but some recent judges decisions make me wonder if we’ll have a republic by the end of this calendar year. Especially, given Barr making noise about arresting mayors he disagrees with and charging protestors with sedition, given his universal description of all BLM protestors being rioters.
