Very few journalists are willing to confirm the obvious. Not Stephanie Ruhle. She understands that one can infer that Trump’s tax dealings are a fraud.
Stephanie Ruhle strikes again!
Recently the New York Times reported that Donald Trump paid no taxes for several years. Moreover, for two recent years, he only paid $750.
Donald J. Trump paid $750 in federal income taxes the year he won the presidency. In his first year in the White House, he paid another $750.
He had paid no income taxes at all in 10 of the previous 15 years — largely because he reported losing much more money than he made.
The article also states that Trump’s businesses generated so much red ink that he requested and got a $72+ million tax refund currently in dispute. He expensed exorbitant consulting fees paid to his daughter. He expensed thousands of dollars in haircuts and makeup.
What Trump is doing is more than tax avoidance. It is obscene disregard for anyone who purports to love the country. While teachers and firepersons make orders of magnitude less money than the President, they paid more taxes.
Stephanie Ruhle slaughtered the President.
- She scorched him for claiming he would close loopholes for the rich. He made it wider.
- She spoke to other rich moguls who made it clear they do take on those selfish excesses.
- She pointed out that some of his expenses look like fraud.
Her take down was complete.

The worst part is, Ivanka is a corporate executive officer of the companies that she then was paid consultant fees on, which makes it embezzlement and tax fraud.
I’m willing to bet that his loan applications show a substantially different value placed on his leveraged businesses and properties, adding in bank fraud as well.
For the GOP to still give Trump a free pass on this all is to give an affirmative defense of most of our organized crime convictions. As, if it’s legal for imPOTUS to do something, it’s obviously legal for civilians to do as well.
