Democratic Analyst Karen Finney would have none of it as she challenged former GOP NJ Governor Chris Christie to knock sense into their Party.

Earlier on This Week’s panel, Chris Christie attempted to absolve himself from the Trump clown cart by saying he warned Trump’s team to either show proof of voter fraud or call it in.

Karen Finney challenged him.

“He’s literally trying to throw out votes, to subvert the will of the people,” Karen Finney said. “Our country is based on a Constitution and the belief that power comes from the people, the people who voted for Joe Biden. Donald Trump operates on the belief that power comes from him. And Republicans are going to have to decide. The Republican Party and my — our colleague Chris Christie is going to have to decide, are you going to follow this person continuously, who believes that his power is the power that rules, or are you going to say, we have got to get down to the business of taking care of the American people? Twelve million people have COVID. And this president wants to golf and tweet falsities and lies. We need to move forward. And I just think it’s important that we acknowledge how serious this situation is, how dangerous this is.”

He did not take too kindly to her challenging him. He called her out.

“I don’t need to be lectured by Karen Finney about doing the right thing,” said Chris Christie. “On election night, on election night, after the president spoke, I said, you either present the facts, or you can’t make the charge.”

The thing is that while Christie normally bullies people on these panels, she did not allow it. After a few backs and forth where she held her own, this followed.

“This isn’t about being lectured by me,” Finney said. “This is about doing the right thing. But if you want to take it out on me, that’s fine.”

Listen to the extracted clips. Great job Karen.
