Joe Scarborough really went at Trump's attempt to be a victim. He called him a "Rich White Billionaire" playing the victim.
Joe Scarborough strikes Trump again
MSNBC's Ayman Mohyeldin played a video where Donald Trump claimed victimhood for himself and his adoring fans. He asked Joe Scarborough for his thoughts on the President's comments. Joe did not mince his words.
"They're all victims," Scarborough said. "Every one of you. This is obviously not the first time he's claimed such persecution throughout his presidency. It's this his way just of shirking responsibility for his loss. I mean, what do you make of this. You've got a guy who inherited $400 billion from his father. His companies went bankrupt time and time again. He's always bailed out. The guys, like what, a 757 before he was president of the United States, helicopters, penthouses, and the guys claiming victimhood. Just cut that clip and explain the Republican Party over the past 10, 15, 20 years, always claiming victimhood."
And then Joe ridiculed Trump and his ilk.
"Usually, it's rich white billionaires and millionaires who are people with ivy league degrees that are claiming some populist BS claiming that somehow they've been victimized," Joe continued. "I love when I see Republican Senators who went to Ivy League schools claiming victimhood and claiming that they're men of the people and that a guy like me that went to the University of Alabama and University of Florida Law School somehow is an elitist. It's just pure garbage, and the Democrats need to call him out on it."
Scarborough has been trying to redeem himself for some time now. Maybe Mika is starting to rub off on him?
