Sometimes when a mirror is held in front of us, it is hard to believe. Tiffany Cross did that today. The American dream has been a nightmare for many.

Tiffany Cross got it completely right.

See full episodes here.

Tiffany Cross’s narrative in this soliloquy makes it clear why diversity in news, and in every aspect of life is important. And the reality, it is mostly for the majority population.

Why? Because it can temper the fallacies of the victor. America has shied away from all that is not pleasant in its history to present itself as exceptional. That is dangerous. Traitors like Donald Trump exploit that flaw to indoctrinate a particular sect of Americans into a belief system that never was. They would have them believe someone is taking from them something they never had or meant for them to have.

In that narrative, Tiffany Cross made it clear why most people of color were not at all shocked by what they saw on January 6th. It was but the display of hate and violence for all to see that generally occur in small pockets throughout the country. Trump’s magic was to aggregate the hate and violence into a movement sanctioned by the president, a conjoined movement.
