Mississippi governor Tate Reeves refuses to say Biden’s win was legitimate. Chuck Todd tries to allow the governor to do the right thing to no avail.
Mississippi Governor won’t come clean
Chuck Todd gave Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves every opportunity to do what is right.
“Governor Reeves, do you agree with Senator Romney who said a lot can be started if more Republicans would tell the truth about the election,” Todd asked. “That there was no fraud. It was won fair and square by Joe Biden? And that plenty of courts agreed with that. Do you think perpetuation that has made the situation worse?
The governor said what was expected. He claimed he had not heard what Romney said. Then he changed the subject to one of Republicans and Democrats talking to each other and being nice to each other.
Chuck Todd did not let up.
“A lot of people will notice you did not agree with the statement,” Todd said. “You didn’t say either way whether you thought he won fair and square. Do you believe the election was won fair and square by Joe Biden?”
The governor refused to answer. He just stated that Joe Biden is the president. The GOP is Donald Trump’s party.
