As usual, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi did not mince her words as he points out Republicans say no to COVID Relief Bill and then take the money.
Nancy Pelosi: Hypocritical Republicans object then take the cash
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi closed out the debate on the COVID Relief Bill with an unfortunate and hypocritical truth for the Republicans. She thanked her caucus for the hard work that they did for providing relief and a bridge for the average Americans.
“It was dazzling to see them and the Democratic chairs and members speak up about this important legislation,” Nancy Pelosi said. “I thank you Mr. Chairman for pointing out the inconsistencies on the part of our colleagues across the aisle and complaining about money helping support for poor children in our country.”
She then slammed Republicans for supporting a tax cut scam for their wealthy benefactors.
“They didn’t hesitate to give large amounts of money to the richest people in America in the Republican tax scam,” Speaker Pelosi said. “Your charts were very eloquent, Mr. Chairman.”
Pelosi pointed out how passionate Democrats were in letting their constituents understand how much the bill would help them and why they are voting yes for the COVID Relief Bill. But she had a zinger for Republicans who are voting no.
“And to hear Republicans talk about why they would vote no,” Pelosi said. “It’s typical that they vote no and take the dough.”
Enough said.
