Too often, politicians do not accurately admonish other politicians for their bad deeds. Lt. Gov. Josh Green (D-HI) did just that, Red State Governors called out.
Red State Governors admonished
One of the reasons we have lost 640,000+ Americans to COVID is partly because we were derelict to tag those promoting death with their policies appropriately. We try to be antiseptic in the wording that we use instead of expressing it in a form commensurate with the carnage they cause.
It was a pleasant shock to watch Hawaii Lieutenant Governor Josh Green do just that.
“Even though we’re very well vaccinated, we still are seeing a ton of cases in our hospitals almost exclusively among those who are unvaccinated,” Josh Green said. “83 percent of all of our hospitalizations are people who are unvaccinated, and 98 of our deaths are people who are unvaccinated. So my heart breaks as an emergency room physician when I see that. What I would say is this. We have to take the politics out of this. We absolutely have to, and we have to unite as a country. I say shame on those governors who are discouraging vaccination. They are killing their constituents.”
That was perfect. Red State Governors have instituted policies that kill. They have refused passage of the Medicare Expansion to the Affordable Care Act. That has killed thousands around the country. Policy after policy, it seems like the party that promotes itself as pro-life is really a pro-death party.
