President Joe Biden took the mainstream media to task. And he did it with class and urged them to go back and do their job.
Joe Biden scold the mainstream media.
Joe Biden pointed out that he met with the leaders in the private sector who had the ability to make a difference. His team helped coordinate solving the supply chain problem.
The president said the docks have improved by more than 40%. He said UPS, FedEx, and other shippers say they are shipping more than ever. CEOs tell the president that their stores are stocked.
Then the president sees news about empty shelves. He admonished the MSM. Go back and do your job, he effectively told them.
Subsequently, MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle came to the defense of the president. She said it is not true that there are empty shelves. Moreover, she said gasoline prices are falling.
Ruhle castigated her own profession. She said that the media was there to highlight empty shelves and rising gas prices. Now that the shelves are filled and the price of gas is declining, there are no reporters to be found. This is a classic example of the mainstream media trying to drive their created narrative.
