If there is a way to make a profit, then humanity can wait as long as we use capitalism to maximize the profits of the select few.
This action is the instantiation of capitalism.
Stephanie Ruhle, a former Wall Street employee, nailed it in her exchange with Jonathan Allen.
“Many businesses are pulling out of Russia,” Ruhle said. “We’ve got exclusive new reporting tonight on how one of America’s biggest investment banks is profiting on the war in Ukraine. Goldman Sachs, they say they are winding down operations in Russia, which is partially true because, at the very same time, they’re actively trading Russian debt to U.S. clients. Mostly hedge funds, and they are using a legal loophole to do it.”
Ruhle then explains that they are pitching discounted bonds to distressed hedge funds with the talking points they can make big profits from the immoral vicious carnage in Ukraine. She ends the segment appropriately with the following.
“Let’s remind you when you buy Russian government bonds, you are now lending to the Russian government,” Stephanie Ruhle said. “And when you buy Russian corporate bonds, you are helping that company succeed. Goldman Sachs is making markets and making money, which is certainly not in line with the spirit of the headline, ‘We are winding down and leaving Russia.’ … It doesn’t matter how much Wall Street tries to rebrand itself with new slogans. It doesn’t change. So if you are a vulture, be a vulture, but do not come flapping your wings to my window and call yourself a dove of peace, because all that Goldman is doing flies in the face of what they’re all of the United States and our Western allies are trying to do.”

This is rich coming from Stephanie Ruhle. She worked for Deutsche Bank. She was a managing director, so she knows how vulture capitalism works. She was part of the club.
I understood exactly where the commenter was coming from and her point. They brainwashed us into believing that capitalism was ordained or divine. Any modification of our economic system that one suggests is a communist. The capitalists are so scared that America will find out that this system continues to scam the majority of the population to benefit the selected few. The scam is near perfect. That is why it has yet to cave, though as Economist Professor Richard Wolff said, the system is falling from its unsustainability. It is also failing from its immorality.
My reply to my commenter was simple.
