Should you get Medicare or Medicare Advantage?
Do not get Medicare Advantage. Get the genuine Medicare. They are not the same no matter what your insurance salesperson tells you. We-The-People run Medicare for no profit. Executives and stockholders profit from preying on us via Medicare Advantage. They demand bonuses and profits. That means less healthcare for you.
The Medicare Advantage plans spend millions in advertising to sell you crap. Guess who is paying for that advertising? You are by getting fewer healthcare services. They offer perks like free lunches to sign up. Some even provide dental, hearing, and vision coverage which Medicare does not. But don’t be fooled; they make you go through hoops to get real value out of them. Unlike traditional Medicare, Medicare Advantage must pay bonuses to executives and dividends to shareholders that come out of your care.

60% of America is white, and a substantial percentage of Latinos identify as white. What do those numbers tell you objectively?
I continue to be baffled by our reporting. We continue to interpret issues on a very superficial level. The post-mortem of the catastrophic 2012 loss Republicans suffered was summarized as a party demographically out of line with the country. In other words, the Republican Party’s most significant constituency is white people in general and white males specifically.
While the statement is true, it is very shortsighted. Human beings respond to one of two things, irrational fear or policies that materially affect them.

Is capitalism dead?
Capitalism thus far has created a lot of value for many in our population. Unfortunately, with time, wealth migrates to the top. It is unsustainable because of the unbalanced growth model and the codification of selfishness and an ode to capital. Because it is void of humanity it is incapable of dealing with human problems if a profit cannot be made from said problem.

How comes it more often than not it is the black man that ends up dead in confrontations?
Patrick Lyoya in Grand Rapids Michigan was shot and killed by a cop. I am tired of seeing black men gunned down by the police. As long as a cop says that he felt threatened, he can use lethal force on an innocent body. I don’t think these cops are in fear. I think they are murderers. And they know they will get off because the Americans have been fed the fallacy of the dangerous black man.
The collective message black people must have for our white citizens: America functions on the deception of the powerless — most of us!: I genuinely do not believe in race. It is one of the most idiotic aspects of our interpretation of humanity. Unfortunately, those of us who know its genesis and the reasons for it coming into existence can only try to bring truth and understanding to the idiocy one person at a time. I hope I can earn the reader’s respect early on so that they can process my statements in the benevolent context under which I mean them.
