After the attempted coup on January 6th, Kevin McCarthy discussed asking Trump to resign. He was discussing using several measures to remove Trump from the presidency.

And he’s made mistakes along the way that have proven that he is just simply too stupid to have this job.. The idea that he put out an emphatic denial just hours ago to be up to like this with tapes just hours later is truly just an epic embarrassment to the Republicans and to the man who’s been trying to be Speaker for all these years.”
Ouch! But she is correct.
Recently I wrote the piece titled “Democrats! Stop being defeatist. Use this message on inflation to win the 2022 election” that I wish every Democrat and Progressive would read. Republican politicians are incompetent posers and liars. Instead of assuming that history is destiny, it is time to make a new history. Competence and trying to do right by constituents can be a winner if our politicians engage everyone, every region, and every group.
