Liz Cheney throws shade on 50, 60, & 70-year-old hiding cowardly men. Women get the job done.

In taking charge of the most recent September 6th hearing, Liz Cheney thanked women for stepping up to testify against Trump’s coup attempt.

Liz Cheney threw shade at all the older guys cowardly protecting Trump. They are hiding behind an executive privilege that does not exist.

“We’ve seen bravery and honor in these hearings,” Liz Cheney said. “And Ms. MATTHEWS and Mr. Pottinger, both of you will be remembered for that, as will Cassidy Hutchinson. She sat here alone, took the oath, and testified before millions of Americans. She knew all along that she would be attacked by President Trump and by the 50, 60, and 70-year-old men who hide themselves behind executive privilege.”

Ouch! In other words, many young women are stepping out to tell the truth. They are saving the country.

“But like our witnesses today, she has courage, and she did it anyway,” Cheney continued. “Cassidy, Sara, and our other witnesses, including Officer Caroline Edwards, Seamus, and her mother, Ruby Freeman, are an inspiration to American women and to American girls. We owe a debt to all of those who have and will appear here.”

Cheney’s constituents may be giving her a hard time now. But it would not surprise me that in the end, she holds her seat. I do not think it matters. I would wager that Liz will be running for the presidency in 2024. She may want to face off with Donald Trump on a debate stage if he does not run away with his tail between his legs.
