Even GOP operative Karl Rove thinks Texas Republicans are extremists and will pay the price.

September 27, 2022 By Egberto Willies

Sorry, there was a YouTube error.

When you have lost Republican operative Karl Rove, it is clear that you are screwed. Rove said Texas Republicans are extreme, and it will hurt them.

GOP Strategist Karl Rove had a message for Texas Republicans. YOU ARE EXTREME. It is clear now that there is a split within the Republican Party between its normal Conservative leaders and what they represent and the MAGA faction. America will determine if the MAGA fascist will seize power.

The Texas Republican Legislature passed a “trigger law” in 2021 that automatically went into effect soon after the Roe decision and banned abortion without exceptions for rape or incest. It did so even though most 6 in 10 Texans support abortions in all or most cases.

Rove appeared at the 2022 Texas Tribune Festival. He was on a panel discussing elections after the Supreme Court Roe v. Wade catastrophic decision.

Rove pointed out that Kansas proved something important. If one created extremist abortion measures, the voters will react as they did.

CEO Evan Smith asked Karl Rove if Texas is too extremist. Without hesitation, he said that Texas is extremist. In other words, Texas is governed by extremists who created extremist policies. But he went further as he pointed out there would be consequences.

“Yeah, I do,” Rove replied. “I think it’s gonna create a real problem for Republicans in the Legislature next year when they have to deal with it.”

If women react as one would expect, given that a male-driven Supreme Court, has decided to take away a right, Republicans would not stand a chance in 2022.
