Liz Cheney continues to impress as she ensures all Republicans and Independents are informed that to save our Democracy, they must vote for Democrats.
Liz Cheney: Vote Democrat!
Liz Cheney has been on a crusade to ensure that MAGA Republicans do not get elected. Unfortunately, there are over 200 election-denying MAGA Republicans running. Cheney was very clear.
“If you care about democracy and you care about the survival of our republic,” Liz Cheney said. Then you need to understand; we all have to understand that we cannot give people power who have told us that they will not honor elections. Elections are the foundation of our republic, and peaceful transfers of power are the foundation of our republic. And we must have elected officials in both parties who understand and honor that duty and that responsibility.”
The above statement is equivalent to telling her sensible Republican colleagues to vote for the opposing Democrat. She wants her true Republicans to take the leap and vote in a manner they would have never done if their vote was not existential to save our Democracy.
Liz Cheney is not a Progressive nor a moderate. We can disagree with her politics and social beliefs. But we should give her credit for placing a bet on America at the cost of her congressional seat.
