Why don’t Democratic ads on crime look & sound like this? Get this message out!

October 23, 2022 By Egberto Willies

Sorry, there was a YouTube error.

I sit in amazement that Democrats have allowed Republican Politicians to take on the crime mantra when their policies are responsible for it. This should be our Democratic crime message.

The Democratic Crime Ad we must have

Watch Politics Done Right T.V. here.

I woke up this morning, perused FiveThirtyEight, and immediately got upset. We would do well to listen to Former GOP Chair Michael Steele.

“You all need to get it together,” Steele said. Because you are about to mess this thing up three weeks from tonight.”

It seems the polls are getting closer than many of us know it should be given a fraudulent Republican Party. Nancy Pelosi is correct when she said Democrats need to get better at messaging inflation.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) in a new interview said Democrats need better messaging on inflation, which has been top of mind to voters ahead of next month’s midterm elections.

“Inflation’s an issue, but it’s global. It’s global. … What’s [the Republicans’] plan? They ain’t got nothing. When you bring down unemployment, inflation goes up. … So in any case, [President Biden] brought unemployment [down], cut it in half,” Pelosi told Punchbowl News in an interview published Wednesday.

But it is the Bernie message that Democrats must provide to an American population in dire straits.

But, as we enter the final weeks of the 2022 midterm elections, I am alarmed to hear the advice that many Democratic candidates are getting from establishment consultants and directors of well-funded Super Pacs that the closing argument of Democrats should focus only on abortion. Cut the 30-second abortion ads and coast to victory.

I disagree. In my view, while the abortion issue must remain on the front burner, it would be political malpractice for Democrats to ignore the state of the economy and allow Republican lies and distortions to go unanswered.

Democrats & Progressives can close the deal in two weeks. The polls say so, as flawed as they are. It is important that voters are not discouraged from voting with doom and gloom messages. The media is like the stock market, too often, their commentary is but gambles that one should disregard. Every single Progressive and Democrat must vote. After all, MAGA will be voting.
